Kathleen E. Goff
Dr. Goff is a native El Pasoan who graduated from the University of Houston, College of Optometry in 1978. She then returned home to El Paso to begin her practice alongside her father. Dr. Goff practices general optometry and LASIK co-management. She was the first El Pasoan to be elected President of the Texas Optometric Association in 2000-2001. She has volunteered her optometric services in the past to Prevent Blindness, Lighthouse for the Blind, and the National Children's Vision Awareness Program. She is a member of the American Optometric Association, the Texas Optometric Association, and the El Paso Optometric Society. She has served on numerous boards, including the Junior League of El Paso, American Cancer Society, Lighthouse for the Blind, Soroptimist, Executive Forum, El Paso Zoological Society, Rotary Club of West El Paso, and executive forum.
Dr. Goff had LASIK done in 1998 and loved the results! In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her family, swimming, traveling, camping, and playing golf.
Kenneth R. Falknor
Dr. Falknor was born and raised in the Houston area. He received his Bachelor of Science and Doctor of Optometry degrees from the University of Houston. In 1978, he relocated to El Paso to join the Drs. Goff at Envision Eyecare. In the early 1980's, Dr. Falknor served as Chief of Optometric Services at McAfee U.S. Army Clinic in White Sands, New Mexico.
Dr. Falknor has been actively involved in community services in El Paso, most notably with the Rotary Club of El Paso, having served as president in 1996-97. In addition, he served Rotary as Assistant District Governor in 2000-01. Dr. Falknor is a 40+ year member of the American Optometric Association and the Texas Optometric Association, and has served as president of the El Paso Optometric Society. Dr. Falknor also had LASIK performed, and it has provided him much more enjoyment of his favorite pastimes, which include golf, camping, and other outdoor activities.
Larry W. Falknor
Dr. Falknor grew up in the Houston area and graduated from the University of Houston. Dr. Falknor began his solo practice in Bay City, Texas in 1977. He was recruited to El Paso to join Dr. Goff and Dr. Falknor in 1990. Dr. Falknor was one of the first optometrists to attain licensing for Optometric Glaucoma Specialist in Texas.
He is actively involved in the Rotary Club of El Paso. Dr. Falknor is not a good candidate for LASIK; and for this reason has not had the procedure done. He enjoys riding his motorcycle, playing with and training his overgrown German Shepherd dog, Schatz, keeping his lawn and house presentable, and tinkering with gadgets. He maintains all computer systems and equipment for the practice.
Andrew J. Zaborowski
Dr. Zaborowski grew up as a military brat, moving from city to city. However, he considers El Paso to be his hometown. He attended the University of Houston College of Optometry, where he received his Doctor of Optometry in 2015. He was then asked to join Envision Eyecare and Optics.
During his optometric education, he was chosen to be a student instructor 2 years in a row for the TEXOCOP program and was a Teachers Assistant for an Ophthalmic Optics lab. During his college career, beginning in the summer of 2007, he used his Summer and Christmas vacations to volunteer as a Firefighter/First Responder, which he had to give up in 2012 due to increasing educational demands. Currently, he attends career days at local elementary schools and high schools and speaks to undergraduate students at UTEP who are hoping to pursue a career in Optometry. He is also attending night classes to get his private pilot certificate
Dr Chelette was born and raised in the Houston area. He graduated with his Doctorate of Optometry from Nova Southeastern University in Ft Lauderdale, Florida, in 2017. After graduating, Dr Chelette enrolled into a year-long residency program in order to specialize in the fields of vision therapy and neuro-optometric rehabilitation. He was then asked to join Envision Eyecare & Envision Optics in 2018.
He specializes in pediatric optometry, learning-related vision disorders, and vision problems stemming from binocular vision dysfunctions or acquired brain injuries (concussions, TBIs, etc), amongst others. He is proud to offer the unique services of vision therapy to El Paso and its surrounding communities!
Dr Chelette is a member of the Texas Optometric Association (TOA), the American Optometric Association (AOA), the College of Optometrists in Vision Development (COVD), the Neuro-Optometric Rehabilitation Association (NORA), and is a clinical associate of the Optometric Extension Program (OEP). In his spare time he enjoys traveling, trying out new foods, and learning different languages.
